Embedded below is the first presentation for my Search Marketing Practicum course this summer at Eastern Michigan.  Over the next couple of months, my group and I will be working with three different non-profits across the country managing both their Google Adwords and Analytics accounts.  I am personally in charge of optimizing website traffic for the Square Foot Gardening organization, and am really looking forward to getting my hands dirty with the large number of visitors they are currently getting to their site.  Other nonprofits we are working with include Dreamcatchers, and the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum.

I will be posting weekly updates of our account progress, as well as analysis of the different metrics we are able to gather through Google Analytics.  This is a great opportunity to get hands-on experience with a real world client, and it is incredibly motivating.  Seeing the changes we make on the back end directly affect the number of visitors to a site is really rewarding!
